Notes:
Bite is a very straight-forward damaging ability. Because it has a 10 second cooldown timer, it is not as useful for dumping excess focus as Claw or Gore, and therefore isn't quite as popular.
But Bite remains an essential skill for a large number of pet families, either as their primary means of dealing physical damage or as an additional damaging skill for use when the timer is up. In fact, Bite is the most widespread active pet skill: it is available to the vast majority of pet families.
