Notes:

Furious Howl is a very interesting skill -- it doesn't cause any direct damage itself, but it does cause everyone in your party (including the wolf!) to do extra damage on their next physical attack. Note, however, that this is an area of effect buff -- if you aren't within 15 yards when the wolf uses the skill, you don't get the buff. If you stand close enough to the action you can benefit from this skill and still be at range, but it may take some practice to judge the distance correctly.

Oddly, your wolf may still use this skill automatically even if it is set to be Passive -- but only if the hunter (not the wolf) is attacked. Furious Howl by itself does cause some aggro, so this can be handy for drawing attackers away from you onto your wolf without actually attacking them. (When the skill triggers this way against a PvP opponent, it does not flag you for PvP. Explicitly telling your wolf to use the skill will flag you for PvP, however, so be careful!)
